Transforming IT Infrastructure for Enhanced Team & member experience, Efficiency and Security
The labdesk team were thrilled to work on a transformative project for the Northern Nuclear Alliance (NNA). Our collaboration with NNA was aimed at revolutionising their Technology & IT infrastructure to promote efficiency, security, and streamlined operations. This case study delves into the various aspects of the project, highlighting the significant benefits that the NNA team has received as a result of the partnership.
The Northern Nuclear Alliance is a group of like-minded nuclear industry companies, large and small, who see a mutual benefit in sharing their collective industry knowledge.
These meetings provide an environment for sharing market intelligence & business opportunities, through presentations, facilitated discussions and industry speakers.
The focus of the Alliance is to support the development of locally based companies and facilitate closer collaboration.
The technology transformation project was multifaceted, encompassing the creation of a new cloud environment with Microsoft 365, the implementation of advanced security services, the integration of HubSpot CRM, and the provision of a managed IT support service. Each component was planned and executed to address the specific needs and challenges faced by the NNA.
Objective: To migrate NNA’s operations to a cloud-based environment, thereby enhancing collaboration, accessibility, and efficiency.
The team at labdesk undertook the task of transitioning NNA's existing systems to a full Microsoft 365 environment. This included setting up cloud-based email, document management, and collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. We ensured a smooth migration by conducting thorough data backups and providing training sessions to NNA staff.
