Nuclear Capital Partners recently came to us with a need for secure, reliable IT systems. Their aim was to protect sensitive data while supporting team collaboration. In the nuclear financing sector, security is absolutely essential, and we were happy to help. 

This case study is a brief overview of how we helped Nuclear Capital Partners establish a secure, efficient foundation for their operations.

## Background - About Nuclear Capital Partners

Founded in 2025, Nuclear Capital Partners (NCP) is a specialised partnership bringing significant expertise in the nuclear sector together.

NCP aims to tap into the global expansion in both large-scale nuclear and emerging Small Modular Reactors (SMRs)/Advanced Nuclear Technologies (ANTs). They assist institutions and nuclear-interested parties in deploying capital into various stages of the nuclear life cycle. 

Their work involves handling sensitive information that requires robust protection while remaining accessible to their team.

## Challenges - Meeting IT & Security Requirements

When NCP approached us, they had a few key challenges:

- Set up a platform for document management and team collaboration
- Implement strong security protections for sensitive data
- Meet relevant compliance standards for their industry
- Build IT infrastructure that can scale with their business

## Our Approach - Building Secure Foundations

We then developed a plan that addressed both immediate concerns and long-term requirements. Instead of disconnected tools, we created an integrated environment to support their team while maintaining strong security.

Microsoft 365 is the central platform for their operations, providing foundations for secure collaboration, communication, and document management. We configured it specifically for their workflows, with security built in from the start.

We also implemented comprehensive security measures through a combination of technical solutions, policy development, and staff training. 

This approach made sure that security became part of their everyday operations as opposed to an afterthought, given the sensitivity of their data.

We set up Microsoft 365 for NCP's operations, focusing on:

The Cyber Essentials certification proves NCP’s commitment to security and is hopefully reassuring to their clients and partners.
