He was looking to strengthen the following: - **The security configuration behind Microsoft 365:** Clarity runs on Microsoft 365, and Nathan looked towards new opportunities that broadened his organisation's capabilities using the software. - **Confidential data in live procurement exercises:** Residents' addresses and contract spend pass through Clarity's systems on housing association projects. - **Exposure reaching past the business itself:** In Nathan's line of work, an IT problem for him becomes an IT problem for the people he works with. Without a change in how IT was handled, Clarity Procurement Solutions was carrying the cost of any downtime itself. Nathan had known Mike, one of labdesk's directors, for ten to twelve years before there was any business between them. They trained at the same gym near labdesk's offices at Birchwood Park. The conversation that started the business partnership began on a Saturday morning drive home, when Nathan spotted Mike and his kids outside the office.
